                                      IN MEMORY.
                        THE DAY is LEAVING HER.
                   she thought   it was much earlier     much earlier
                 in the day    perhaps two o'clock    perhaps
                       closer to noon      no    it's four-twenty
                   and from now on the day will accelerate its
                   departure for being winter is dark already.

                The day is very much in a rush to leave her
                        from now on nothing but darkness
                            of night to look forward to.

                        Nothing but darkness of night
                               to look forward to
                            the day is leaving her
                            the light is dimming
                             the night is coming.
